This is a "as is" modification to the game for nude miqo'te. Virustotal.com sees nothing, but there is always a risk!

BACK UP BEFORE TRYING

The program to alter miqo'te most likely does not back up the files itself, and upon a game update, may require you to reinstall the entire game if you don't have backups.

Now... who wants to use the tool found in this thread

I've yet to try myself, but the instructions are in japanese, maybe someone will translate it sometime :P

I didn't translate it but I figured it out. You have to put the .exe files into the folder of the files they're modifying and then run as administrator.

To make it easy put them here and run as admin.

C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\sqpack\ffxiv

It doesn't just work on Miqo'te it works on all races except lalas. But you have to have nothing equipped to look nude. You can't just use the emperor's new shirt or pants. Hopefully someone either already knows of a way past that or will figure one out.

I tried posting a reply last night and it hasn't posted yet. I don't know why. I haven't translated that instructions image but I did figure out how to get it working.

go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\sqpack\ffxiv

Place the .exe files in there and run them as admin.

It works for all races not just Miqo'te. Though the breasts look a little funky on a full sized Roegadyn female with the breast slider at 100.

The only real problem I see with this is when using the emperor's new clothes glamour pieces you still see the underwear. The only way for the character to not be wearing clothing is to actually unequip the pieces of gear. If anyone knows a way around that I'd appreciate it.

On the off chance that my post didn't come up because I posted screenshots I'll leave them off of this attempt.

They both go in this folder RUN EACH as an admin and it should do its job and you should be good to go. It might also help to not have your ffxiv directory in the x86 program files directory it might disallow you from running the executables.

Well, that makes sense. The message that popped on my screen and disappeared within a second must have said as much. Thanks for the info.

Also, does anyone know if there's a way to make the nude glamours actually nude and not have the underwear visible like when nothing is equipped?

Lastly, if I decide to run around like that no one but me can tell right?

yup no one else can see your modifications unless SE decides to do "torrenting of dat files" which I don't see happening till the world over is using 1GB internet

as for glamour, i'm sure it is "slightly" different from wearing nothing so won't work.

Almost tempted to try to rip off skyrim nude mods for their nipple and lady bit textures and see if it'd be possible to shop them in. but can't figure out where the skin textures are with the explorer.
Though it might end up looking odd being that most of those mods have a more realistic art style than xiv's

I was under the impression that SE used the same models for all races, they just had different 'morphing' triggers. Perhaps I'm wrong in that but I swear I read that some where @[email protected]

As for the glamor stuff... It kind of sounds like there is another no equip model (or texture at least) that the glamor points to. Kind of makes sense that they made another model. I would assume its less coding/work to make the glamor point to an actual 'armor' dat then to tell the game to display no equipment in that spot. If that makes any sense lol >__>

On the textures for this.... wouldn't it be easier to just use steal from the 1.0 nude mode textures? I guess I've never really looked at them. It does really irk me that the males have no nipples and I've thought about fixing that. Every time I'm in the mood to mod though I can never find what I want and get distracted doing something else =3

Try using some Transparency Supersampling. It may even out the "blockiness", but also might cause shader glitches. Worth a try at least.

Well, definite potential, and the jiggle physics all seem to be carried straight over from the underwear setup (though should've been obvious that were the case, I suppose) but yeah, needing some definite little touchups here and there....

Still enough for some risque pics, but, well... the butt's still lacking, sorry for bringing up that whole thing, but..., one thing at a time, and I really gotta say thank you to those that came up with this already, even if I am a few days late to the party.

I have noticed there is a bit of a shading issue when lying down, it seems to swirl, I'll see about getting a screenie of that later.

I cannot even begin to express the level of intensity my trousers are straining at this very moment. I had thought all hope was lost for this game, surely! Much to my excitement, I had to test this right away. With the door locked, of course. I wish I didn't have to butcher some of them to get them under 10MB, but enjoy!

Woot finally its here! I'm amazing that it finally happened. I'm really blown away that this was achieved with an exe though. Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like they somehow modified the mesh.

I know simple hexing is possible for modifying the mesh..but this is a whole different level of modification lol. I really wonder how this was done...and if more can be achieved.

If Alikona is right, and they are morphs...I wonder if its possible to change the base. If so...that could lead to some really interesting possibilities :D

I'll take a look at the tex swapper tool, but I don't have much confidence in my photoshopping skills lol. I'm quite a bit more confident in my 3ds max skills though :D

Skyrim textures would probably be a good place to start for realistic textures. You could go a step further and look at some stuff from daz3d/poser. The format is all very similar. I'll have to look at the base texture to know how much of a pain it is. I'm guessing its probably in the standard "shits all over the place" format, that so many games use. (probably looks similar to the gw2 layout I bet)
