i would say only one tear so it counts as cry
honey and clover II
grave of the fireflies
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

btw if you play the fate stay night and then see the anime you wouldnt be crying since that ending is on of the crappy endings.

Umm, I don't think I actually cried but I choked a bit during the last episode of Cowboy Bebop. When you-know-who fell to the ground, died and Blue started playing as the credits began to roll. I was like NOOOOOOO! That's not fair!! That was the saddest moment in anime for me. There were many sad moments in Dragonball Z too. To name a few:

~DBZ Spoilers~

Freeza kills Vegeta
Freeza almost drowns Goku
Vegeta getting his pride broken by everyone. (I really felt sorry for the poor throneless prince)
Death of Goku during the Cell Games
Death of Majin Buu and the end of Dragonball Z.
The end of DBGT was pretty sad too. Goku hops on Shenron and leaves forever without telling anyone, then the ending credits start to show clips from the entire Dragonball series.

~End DBZ Spoilers~

All the things that happened in End of Evangelion.

Thats about it for my relatively small experience with anime.

I don't think I've ever cried in an anime, but I did at the end of Little Sister Kana (H-game)

Air, Kanon (at least twice), Chobits, Chrno Crusade, I'm sure Clannad will be added to the list eventually, though I think the impact of the show would be much more powerful if i watched it over the course of a day or two. Thats what I tell everyone I give Kanon to, its one of the animes that are more enjoyable when watched over a short time...

onli a small majority of ppl who watched Grave of the Fireflies wouldnt have cried, or felt like crying. i think it was meant to make ppl know the sadness of war.

im not realli into manga or anime but, one scene from the manga Groove Adventure Rave made me cry.

wall of text, i think onli wenry would read such a thing.
to make things simple:
the girl is a magician who has the power to stop the world from ending.
by her father's will, she killed herself, as in identity, 50years ago, and has a grave, as she was a princess.
she went though something like a cold sleep, except losing all her memory, so she has no idea she was a princess, or has the magic in her.
she later gets saved from his magician, sieghart, from a race of magicians that are the guardians of time, seeing her as a threat, by "the chosen one" who can unleash the powers of the magical stone that she made 50years ago, in exchange for her "death".
Sieghart, after the battle, realizes that somethings are more important than protecting time, letting her live, and joining their party later.
and alot goes on.
so, the evil side gets stronger, and since they need her to be able to fully control the magic, they decide to go to her grave and get back her past.
on the way there, the world's greatest evil magician (Sieghart, at this point, is no.2) traces thier airship on his wand, and since he's evil and great and old and stuff, he catches up even if they warp. (it takes 10magician's full magic to warp, but since he's evil and great and old and stuff, he can do it alone without exhausting himself).
they reach the grave by the scenery is the not the same, everything is gone, except for a skeleton sitting on a rock. the girls notices that the skeleton has the same necklace as her, and wonders why.
then the rave and her magic inside her reacts violently at the grave, opening a time portal, sucking the chosen one, the girl and Sieghart into the past, ironically 52years ago.
at this point, they have no idea how to return to the present.
anyway, alot of things happen. (since they came from the future, theyre time is slowly trying to fix itself to the present, so they warp into the future little by little 10days or so each warp. they were sucked in a crack of time, so when the crack tries to seal itself, they warp.)
anyway, the girl used to be a dancer, and she got kidnapped. to keep the girl and her past self from colliding and not to effect the ppl who might change their actions because of meeting her (i.e. one person decides to go to war and if he dies, then his descendants will disappear, and...), they hide the fact by borrowing her dancer clothes and switching it her present clothes. the girl in the past has a dance event, and ends up wearing her future self's clothes, thinking it was her costume for that event.
anyway, later, a future predicting person comes and talks about the big evil, and that onli the girl can save the world, in 50years.
this is where she cuts her long hair, and "kills" herself, becoming who she is now.
also, a unstable displacement in time appears, "where times cross" and Sieghart uses his magic to force it open and send them back in time.
Sieghart likes her, but he knows that she likes the chosen one, so his parting words are: "I hope you can live happily, may future be in ur hands."
and he tears a bit, as he wont be able to see her again.
meanwhile, knowing the consequences of interacting with ppl not in his time, so he cant talk, go out to buy food, etc.
he stands by the girl's grave, the place unreleased to the public, and not at her palace, so where no one would come.
there, the king, who "killed" her, and she comes visiting. Sieghart watches, happy that he got to see her again, but doesnt jump out, due to the consequences.
she says goodbye to her old self, and the king decides to leave her alone to look for people in the vicinity.
then, she takes out the necklace, from the event, from the future self's outfit.
he jumps out in amazement, and talks to her.
Sieghart: "that... if you may, will you give that to me? its... something of my dearest friends...."
girl: "dearest friend?"
S: "yea... i cherish him/her truly from my heart. But i cant ever meet that friend again... so... i want to be the one holding that..."
girl: "you cant meet them ever again?
*Sieghart does a somewhat sad feeling but soft, warm look*
girl: "i'm sorry... i didnt know it was something of that importance..."
Sieghart: "no, it's not something that you should be apologizing about...."
girl: "here..."
*as the girl holds his wrist and puts the necklace into his open palm, Sieghart shudders*
girl: "um... is something wrong...? your hand is shaking..."
Sieghart, thinking to himself: "(name of girl)... i thought that i would never have seen you again... now... im front of my very own eyes..."
*Sieghart closes his shaking hand around the necklace*
Sieghart: "Thanks."
King: "Hey! is someone there!?"
girl: "i forgot!" *she starts running towards the king* "!!!!" *turns back* "uh... um... do you happen to know who i am...?"
Sieghart: "....no...."
*girls takes sigh of relief*
girl: "sorry, im in a hurry.... whoever that necklace belongs to, must be happy. to be cherished (thought strongly, loved) by a wonderful genteman likes you"
Sieghart, thinking to himself: "i thought there was nothing i could do in this time, but there's one thing that i can do. that is, (name of girl)... to protect you!" *sits in front of grave on a stone* "there's nothing to worry about, i'll protect you from everything!"
the other two are back in the present, and in front of the skeleton, now knowing that it's Sieghart from the necklace, whos been protecting her grave for 50years, even after he died.

...now i'll go cry again in the corner.
