Call me paranoid, but I prefer to not make Google's data gathering easier for them than necessary.

On an unrelated note, I got to see a Compaq LTE/286 today. I wish I could have been able to mess around with it a bit though.

Looks like Skylake CPU in 2015 will support 4K res and DX12, looks like the "low end" AMD/Nvidia video cards going to need to step it up a notch to compete

GTX 980, GTX 970, GTX 980M and GTX 970M 3DMark performance

Looks like its aiming for the 4K res market... medium range, hopefully a 980 gtx will be better and can see how well it does on 4K gaming

Next generation Skylake Intel CPU's by... the end of 2015. Hopefully Video cards will be up to speed by then considering Skylake is supposed to have the graphic power to encode+decode 4K video in real time.

Display Port 1.3 coming up in 2015, to support 5K monitors (well it goes up to 8K supposedly so why not) and... AND 4K at 120 hz. 4K IPS monitor that can handle 120fps /fapfapfap

http://techreport.com/news/27054/dis...ys-4k-at-120hz

I would think the Nvidia 900 series will support DP1.3, and with this... I am curious if the upcoming Seiki monitors that support DP1.3 will be 60hz or 120hz...

In case you missed it ~

Nvidia GTX 980 and 970 benchmarks, GPU temps, and more

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-maxwell-g...faster-r9-290/

Expect to see more benchmarks and tests (I'm sure there will be 4K tests) this friday (supposedly media blackout will be lifted so we'll see the net explode with more info)

More detailed reviews and benchmarks (now at 4K res) for your pleasure of the Nvidia 980 GTX and the 970 GTX

http://techreport.com/review/27067/n...cards-reviewed

I'm sure we'll see more floating around soon enough all over the place.

Still going to wait out for the 980 Ti myself, hope it doesn't disappoint, wtb 4K 60fps+ single gpu video card (on most gen games max quality!) >.>

Another benchmark

with world of warcraft MoP (4K) and Diablo 3 RoS benchmarks with the GTX 970 and 980

Looks like the first G-sync 4K monitor is coming up next month~

http://www.anandtech.com/show/8548/a...-gsync-for-800

$800 for it, but for some I'm sure its worth it O_o

Waiting on the DisplayPort 1.3 Monitors myself, because the G-sync "only" works in fullscreen mode, switching to window mode, makes the game go to Vsync. I play most every game window mode so i can alt tab to do other things (for example lookup info for a quest, or to keep track of timers on things such as ffxiv's nexus quest bonus)

Your Samsung Evo 840 feeling a bit slow? Some people have reported a quick fix to the SSD slowdown can be done by using

For those that can't wait for Samsung to release a firmware update

DOCSIS 3.1 might be coming sooner then you think~
Although I doubt we'll be seeing insane speed offerings anytime soon within the next five yeas for most of us the way things are, but the nice feature of 5.1 is a "burst" of 1Gbps speed for the cable modem. Wondering if that works for cable modem upload speed, not just download... >.>
