Lapis. From... something. Will edit when I get where from and remembering the modeler's name. (Also something back2you was looking for from that other post feed?)

Amaki Asuka. Some person who had these models out for like a week. Made off of a base of some kind. (Don't really have the need for this in my folder so handing this one out.)

Whhhattt!!!
This is why I LOVE YOU freaking much. T_T

fyi. The details of the modelers is on the zips of my signature.

The modeler no longer does it for new models because it's so easily reverted. I use HxD, which automatically backs up the locked model as a .bak file, but you can just delete it and use the resaved .pmx. Last year someone made a utility which I believe does the same thing; I downloaded it but never used it because I just used hex. Anyway, here it is if you want it.

This is how I unlock most of the models I downloaded

Easiest way I have found is to use the Blender add on MMD tools. Just import the model with MMD tools, and export the model with MMD tools. You might need to do some clean up with the exported model, but it fixes the hex edit BS. I found this out, because one of the models I had that was hex edited I couldn't fix by changing the hex code. But doing it this way fixed it.

I'd be interested in seeing that model and examining what was different about it. I've never had a failure in fixing it with hex.

That was like, 3 months ago. I honestly don't remember which model it was.

I've known blender to merge mmd models' vertex groups for no reason on occasion. It may be something to do with the name conversion on import/export.

On an unrelated note, I just read this gem of a ruleset.

Do you mean that the model materials are all one mesh? If so, you can fix that with the option "Separate Materials" on the MMD Tools tab. On export though, it will join the materials into one mesh again. MMD reads them as layers instead of separate meshes, which is why models are imported/exported as a single mesh.

Hey guys, what's the pass for this?

https://bowlroll.net/file/186881

I read over the Google translate saying it's the 8 digit date of the character's Youtube channel? Could be something else. Didn't seem to work when I set the date in JP or US time format and with slashes, hyphens, and without spaces or those. I went through checking if any other relevant dates were valid like the first video they published on the Youtube channel and the modeler's release date of the model and/or video with it. Those didn't seem to work either. Might have something to do another related channel possibly, since I saw something about paryi? The nico video link for this is here:

https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm34445482

The video description has the link to the character's Youtube channel as well. Gonna keep thinking this out.

It's the 8-digit date of her debut video. Year, then month, then day. Look at her uploaded videos on Youtube, it's actually the second one (not the one that has #0000) in it. They wrote "debut" in hiragana to throw you off.

That doesn't work. are there dashes or do you have to put the full year in it?

EDIT: Nvm. I was putting it in wrong.

Anyone willing to...well at the very least, translate the hint for the password? The hint all in Hiragana and I'm not very good at reading it (And google translate is pretty useless at it) sm34469359

Her first name in hiragana and her birthday mmdd. No spaces. Most of this guy's models follow the same pattern.

"Haifu model no namae kanji karatabemono no na wo hiragana futa moji de"

Looks like model name in kanji, food(?) name in two hiragana characters.

I'm not sure if anyone asked this before or not, but I'm asking here. Any chance someone could help me figure out the unzip pass for this model?

http://seiga.nicovideo.jp/seiga/im8298095

The hint in the read me makes no damn sense. (or, at least the translation of it makes no sense.)

One of the last few lines translates to something like
"By now, the password is obvious."

So, maybe it's something he's written a few times up to that point, but he seems like he's being deliberately obtuse to try and look clever, so I wouldn't be comfortable betting on it.

Thanks for translating it as best you could. I attempted as much as I could to figure it out...and I'm stumped. Anyone else had any luck?

if you're wondering how to untangle this nightmare of wordsmithing, move the symbols one by one in rows [in a similar fashion to my the recently quoted picture up above] and check for googles alternative translations on the right side. it clicked once half of it started to resemble her name.

I cant remember if I had seen this here or not but I'm gonna ask here.

Can anyone figure out the DL password for this model?
https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm18993153

From what I can gather, you have to change the Japanese letters to English. But translating it gives me nothing usable...
