So... I am assuming you have this program installed on your computer. You need this for this mod to work.

You need to exit the game prior to doing any changes. I also recommend that you back up the files you are changing. If you have a default installation this particular file can be found in:

C:\Program Files\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\sqpack\ffxiv\040000.win32.index (in my files there is also a 040000.win32.index2, back that one up too just in case).

1. Follow the steps in the setup guide and open index file 040000.

2. Click on the Search menu at the time > click on Find.

3. In the popup window copy/paste this: "v01_d0001e0015_top_n.tex" (minus the "") click on Search. Text should appear below, click on the text and then hit Go To.

4. This will expand the texture folder that we want, look CLOSELY for the text that matches what you copy and pasted earlier "v01_d0001e0015_top_n.tex". Click on this text. On the right side of the window hit Save DDS. Minimize the FFXIV Browser window.

5. Locate the folder that you saved the FFXIV Browser in on your computer. Inside this folder will be two new folders, Saved and Backup. Place the attached .rar file into the Saved folder.

6. Right click on the .rar file and click Extract Here, hit yes when prompted to overwrite the file.

7. Switch back over to the FFXIV Browser window. Make sure "v01_d0001e0015_top_n.tex" is still selected in this list. Hit the Import button on the right side of the window.

Annnnnnnd thats it =o

If you wish to 'uninstall' the mod just go back into the FFXIV Browser, locate the "v01_d0001e0015_top_n.tex" file and hit Revert on the right side of the screen. The program automatically creates a backup for you.
