List of new bluemage spells for those that cna't find the info o_o

Wild Carrot - Promathia Area Rabbits
level 30
37 MP
2.5 cast
6 recast
Restores HP for the target party member.

Blank Gaze - Opo Opo
level 38
25 MP
3 cast
10 recast
Removes one beneficial magic effect from an enemy.

Zephyr Mantle - Puk
level 65
31 MP
7 cast
60 recast
Creates shadow images that each absorb a single attack directed at you.

Mind Blast - Soulflayer
level 73
82 MP
3 cast
30 recast
Deals lightning damage to an enemy. Additional effect: Paralysis.

Magic Hammer - Poroggo
level 74
40 MP
4 cast
52 recast
Steals an amount of enemy's MP equal to damage dealt. Ineffective against undead.

Exuviation - Waomoura (Not Wamouracampa)
level 75
40 MP
3 cast
60 recast
Restores HP and removes one detrimental magic effect. <-- Self Only

Magic fruit is a lot more powerful.
Lets say Magic Fruit is like a weak Cure 4 and Wild Carrot is like cure 3, Both are usefull but unless your a tarutaru you may want to save some mp.

Yes but you must admit, Wild Carrot always did have a nice look to it. I was waiting for them to release it. I knew eventually they would.

I was hoping for Zephyr Mantle to be a Copy Image effect, but it's only Blink. :( So useless... blink never friggin blocks anything for me. -_-

So far I've found Zephyr mantle to be pretty useful, actually. I don't seem to have any problems with the first 3 shadows blocking attacks, but it's that fourth shadow that's a little flighty.

I didn't want to bring logic into this but..

animating it for all taru, mithra, galka, hume and elvaan, male and female, all 99? 100? Spells would take a year =P Having Blue Mage is enough for me xD but the actualy Beast animations would have been cool, but at the same time freaky..since apparently everytime we use a spell we inch closer to the abyss, our 2hr should at least be changed to let us become a Soulflayer...the whole getting consumed by darkness sequence and all =P

Zephyr mantle is useful since it can replace chaotic eye in conserve mp. And if you are subbing thf, it is nice to have some kind of blink.

Yeah, I use it for Conserve MP... 2 points is much nicer than 5 points for Firespit, even if that gives STR+3 instead of AGI+2. And I suppose it's nice to have when subbing THF (which I always am in exp), but considering Puks get Copy Image and it takes so long to cast/recast, I was hoping to get Copy Image too. :/ Blink is always so unreliable for me for some reason...

Puks only get blink I think, since I could have sworn I hit through the shadows before.

Not unless it was with Sneak Attack. :P It even says in the log: "The Puk gains the effect of Copy Image." Otherwise, others took its shadows down really fast.

Meh, I don't pay attention to chat log, I just try to keeep an eye on the HP bar and a few other things.

If memory serves, ours also says Copy Image. And I'm pretty sure I've hit Puks between shadows, too. o.O

Yeah, its not copy image, since I've gotten hit everytime its between my 3rd and 4th shadow.

Same here. I've never had an issue with the first 3 shadows absorbing 100% of the time, though. Just that fourth one. XD
