Default Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi

No, it's not porn.

I don't know if anyone made an official post about this, however...

I followed an old link from one of Phiban's posts about his avatar's origin. What I've found is a powerful story combined with an amazing visual.

The Powerpuff Girls by Bleedman is breathtaking. It takes a large number of characters from the Cartoon Network universe, puts them in one place, stays true to their cartoon personalities, and does it all extremely well.

So well that I've fought back some tears during its more intense moments.

Phiban, thank you for inadvertantly showing me this.

You've totally crushed the dreams of all the loli fans on this forum with that one sentence.

After some looking around, I've found this excellent PPGD flash game at Newgrounds.

It's a great comic. I've been waiting for new comics for a while now, but sadly, it, along with Invader Zim and Grim Tales From Down Below were all put on haitus :?

Another "Cartoon Network"-inspired series from the same artist is also updated on that site. Grim Tales from Down Below is darker and much more violent than his other material. It is a continuation of the show "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy".

The Grim Reaper and Mandy had gotten married (don't laugh! this is done terribly well). They ended up having two children, Grim Jr. and Minimandy (stop snickering), and made their home in the bowels of Hell.

It can be kind of gruesome, but if you don't mind a more adult comic, you'll probably enjoy it.

oohh, just now noticed this thread...
Yeah, Bleedman said that he will work on PPJD after he concludes The Grim Tales... but now that is on hiatus =/ Though the Sugar Bits comic seems interesting.

I really miss it too. The newer episodes were not done by the same producer {Gennedy Tartakovsky}. Didn't have the same clever flare as it did with Tartakovsky

Seems to me that all three series may not ever be comlpleted. :( Thats would be a serious tragedy with all the cliffhangers.

I think I may like Grim Tales just as much if not more than PPGD. A couple of scenes are kind of stomach-turning, but that gives it more edge.

I thought Bleedman's Archangel addition at the end of the comic was brilliant and well-designed. The guy might complain about his own writing ability, but his creativity is very impressive.

If you find updates on the series before I do, let me know. I'm all for the artist taking a break, but whether it's next year or 10 years from now... he'd better finish up or my head will cave in.

Ah well I have it bookmarked, I like a lot of the snafu comics so I check regularly for updates. So if I do find anything out I'll post it here.
