Default wall of text?

how many sentences does it take for a stereotypical ADD NA person to ignore a post because they classify it as a wall of text?

is not about sentences, its about how that person goes around the problem in circles over and over......without getting to a point, there is sometimes we encounter:
a)a lot of text but all is usefull
b)wall of text(something not getting to a point or a fact without and end giving the problem over and over)

There are times when a wall of text is ok. Like when Nakate was talking about the first release of the N-S MMO, a lot of points had to be brought up. But, to answer your question... If I have to scroll down to read the rest of it, it's a wall of text.

Seeing as I am one of the people who violate the "wall of text" rule, let me give you my own opinion. Well, basically its similar to what Kickern said. If I have to scroll down, its a prime candidate.

However, I think the only people that I know at this website that do type walls of texts is me and Nakate. She makes her point, backs up what she said, and she makes it interesting to read the whole way through.

Personally, I have always considered myself a writer. Because of my current occupation, I have to be as articulate as possible, meaning that I have to be clear and concise or I lose the sale and don't get paid. I make my point, and then I shut up.

Trust me, I type far more words than I speak.

Does a half of a wall count?

That would be what I call a wall of ignorance. I don't read posts which denote the author's blatant disregard for the reader's time and sanity by omitting the fraction-of-a-second worth of effort it takes to punctuate properly and check grammar as one types.

I think the wall of text definition is encompassed quite well with the "If I have to scroll down to finish reading" rule. I'll read them if it is interesting and it is evident that the author has taken the damn 5 seconds it takes to use spell check.

A.K.A. a run-on sentence.

imo a wall of text is something like this a part of text that has no punctiation or returns in the text it's hard to read and anoying to find out when a new part of the text starts and stuff like that also having more then 5 lines does help to get a wall of text stated above here I hate it when people do stuff like this because it makes it even harder to understand what they are trying to state not to forget they usualy also forget to use actualy grammar and basic english spelling I'm not english myself but I do hate it when native speakers/writers type like a lot of mistakes in their text it's realy not that hard to reread what you said and get the mistakes out I hate myself for writing this text but it is just to illustrate how a wall of text looks usualy a wall of text also can be a big post that has actual meaning but usualy it's something like this a text without use that is hard to read
