Lately my psp has been randomly cuting off whenever I dont have it hooked up to the adapter..do you think its the battery or should I go ahead and buy the slim/lite version?

if you have any friends with a PSP, I'd check to see if it's the battery first before shelling out the money to get a slim.

Default Re: Psp problem

The slim is less downgrade friendly, very shoddy and cheaply made, and feels like it'll snap like a twig. Even with the minor improvements they made to the hardware, it's clearly the inferior unit and I'm very disappointed that Sony is trying to market it as "improved".

Just once I'd like to get what I pay for, and not this trash. :?

You'll have to be more specific.

When I try to play the psp without the AC plug in it, it takes about a min. or two until a battery flashes then it cuts off completely. Is there a psp battery charger?
