Default Final Fantasy VII

Anyone know how to get a torrented version of FF VII(7) to work? I'm trying to get the PC version to work, but ran into complete failure with the "Ultimate Edition".

Well, the cool thing about the PC version is that there are mods to improve the graphics. ^^
(And I actually have Disk 3 & 4, the first two were stolen.)

I'm still downloading the ISOs, so I'll see what happens with them.

From what I hear, it's annoying to get to work on XP not to mention Vista.

The PC ISOs failed miserably. I gave up and got the PSX version emulated.. I have both the PAL and NTSC versions but.. There seems to be a problem with the battle sounds (I think?) When I play the game, most of the sound effects when you hit stuff or are hit sound wrong. Did FFVII really have lame combat sounds (short, high pitched)? Or is it a problem with my emulator / sound plugin.

I'm running ePSXe with Pete's SPU plugin.

You need like 15 diffrent plugins and try out diffrent settings with ePSXe.
Found that FFVIII works better then FFVII <_<

I don't have to emulate FFVIII, I have it and a PS2. xD

What other plugins are there?

According to my launcher where it worked, I'm using;
*Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75
*Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
*SaPu's CD-ROM Plugin 1.0

I recommend you downloading Delta Frontend which is a ePSXe plugin rememberer & reloader so to say.

Well, that's the graphics plugin. Which I have Pete's OpenGL Driver 2.8 - which has no problems at all so far.

The problem I think I'm suffering from is poor in-battle sound and sometimes a minor slowdown while loading the battles. So I think the problem is with the Sound plugin or perhaps the CD plugin. (Using Deamontools for the drive.)

I'll try out the plugins you listed and see what happens. ^^

Oh, and Nyuuh, loooooove the new avatar. <3 where's it from?

Uuh.. Some hentai thread collection thingy "Qwerty's FFXI Mega Pack" - Elvaan - shaju(1).
I liked it because it reminded me of myself :p

PS: like your avatar too in a naughty type of way <.<

My avatar, naughty? O.o... I actually found it somewhere else as an avatar already, still trying to find the original pic.

Was too lazy to mess with the emulator. But the squeaky battle sounds are kinda funny.
