Thats pretty crazy, never saw anything like that before, but yeah I definitly believe its for real. That is basically the same setup I have in my arcade that I had build. Its called a J-PAC or I-PAC and you just wire up some wires and diodes on one end.... And then the other end is the ps2 keyboard port for a pc so it works just fine!
