Default VRS Offline?

Is there anyway to make VRS work without having to connect Online with the user pass? I' asking this since here where i work, VRS seems to be blocked so i always get an error saying Not connect server. I can access his website with no problem.

Nope.. I believe once you "log in" and are with in VRS you no longer need internet access, but there is no way to start VRS without it.

Perhaps you should work at work ^^

I wonder where the information saying you logged in is put tho. Since right now im using the vrs folder from home and even the registry key from home.

Edit : I'm doing some technical support so sometimes i have LOTS of free time.

I just don't think it checks for active connection once you "log in" to VRS. Perhaps it stores some randomly generated "key" every time you "log in".

ten to one, your work is blocking whichever port(s) VRS is needing to "connect" with.

I guess i'll start working at work for a change and play with VRS at home only.

When I had gobs of free time and no connection, I would work on textures, since that seems to take ungodly amounts of time. But booting VRS offline? Nope.

Since i'm really bad at using painting program, I thought i would have fun only porting some stuff, but it ain't gonna happen without VRS.

Sometimes I'd boot VRS at home on my laptop, then take it to work on sleep or standby mode. I'd plug it in to restore the battery, then when I got some free time I'd mess around with VRS stuff on my laptop. Granted, it was slow work (especially importing and exporting), but at least I could accomplish what I wanted in my spare time.
