All I can say is holy fuck that was awesome! Only thing that sucks is Ledger wont be the joker anymore ; ;

He did.... a little too good. It was scary how psycho he was :D

Indeed it was a truly great performance, and such a pity =/ Apparently he based part of his performance aswell on Sid Vicious which does have a bit of a sad irony to it >.>; think my favourite part would have to be

*spoiler*

"Watch as I make this pencil *slams guys head onto table* disappear!"

Usually I'd go and see it, but i hear it's kinda dark and scary. I try to avoid being scared.

I'll probably end up watching it on dvd though.

Seen it and loved it. Although I got to admit the Joker was a little more cruel than I was expecting.

***SPOILERS START HERE! LOOK BELOW***

I thought they did Two Face pretty well. Although I think the most disturbing part when when the Joker put that bomb in that guy's stomach and detonated it by calling him on a cell phone

***SPOILERS END HERE****

Coming from someone who has read the original batman as well as most of the darker renditions, I'd have to say they did it very very well. And for anyone curious, that's actually what the joker was supposed to be like, just as ridiculously sadistic and smart as they portrayed him :D

...I do feel bad for people who went expecting a joker anywhere near a jack nickelson rendition >.> Scared the crap out of some of my friends because I didn't explain it to them earlier XD

Everything I've heard about this movie has been good so far. I want to see it, badly.

Was he really that creepy? The Joker i mean. I've heard it's probably the darkest and most twisted performance in the decade... But critics are never right. When you get paid to give your opinion, it stops becoming your view.

All you have to do is just look at how different the Joker looks, I think. I never imagined a villain being a guy who laughs hysterically all the time being one I can take seriously. The Joker in this movie, from what I've seen, is exactly as I would expect him to be -- especially considering he's supposed to be Batman's nemesis. So I think the reviews from critics are very accurate, both as to what I've seen and by the testimonies of people I know who saw it.

Movies > Boyfriends anyways...
At least with movies, you're satisfied at least a quarter of the time!

Ah sorry to hear about that Mia =X Wish I had friends that dragged me to the movies though, this year I've only been to see The Dark Knight and The Bucket List, and that was on my own (my friend even stood me up on The Dark Knight, didn't bother to cancel x.x)

For once I agree with the critics, the joker is pretty fucked up in this movie.

I've slowly gotten used to having to go alone, the only thing that sucks though is not being able to talk about the movie with anyone, and yea, in real life I do tend to quote movies/tv series/everything a lot, much to the confusion of everyone around me.

The only "friends" i have are people i work with or used to work with. And those are really just acquaintances. I'm too shy to just randomly go somewhere and make friends lol, I don't see how anyone makes new friends after they get out of school... How are they exposed to them? How do you meet them? I guess I'm too reserved... I mind my own business and don't speak to anyone unless they approach me first. I usually shoo those one's away pretty swiftly too though.

But yeah! Back on topic now... The last batman movie was good. I thought they really portrayed the way a super-hero would really be. They wouldn't be all goody-two-shoes about everything. He was an ass hole, and a ninja! I expect the same thing from this one too, and I'm sure it'll be a similar performance. After all, it takes a jack-ass ninja with bat-shaped shurikens to take down a maniac clown!

You could always ask Jujubee to go with you! Heh.

On topic, going to see it tonight myself. I have to admit it was mostly the people on the forum here saying how good it was that got me to go.
