Default Favourite Villains!

Well err, I'm going to be ripping off Mythago ripping off Lalana's thread here but, I noticed while replying to those threads I have a very keen fondness of Villains so... top three villains from any type of media!

1# The Joker (Batman)

2# Richard Guyot (Guyver)

3# The Master (Doctor Who)

You're all thieves! The whole lot of ya!

1) Doctor Cox, from Scrubs... He's the closest to a villain on there!
2) Grimmjow, from bleach as said in my anime-post
3) Lex Luther, Smallville... He's cute!

I haven't seen The Dark Knight yet, so I can't say whether or not he's better than Jack Nicholson's Joker. I've heard it's pretty amazing though.

You can't be better than Jack Nicholson as the Joker, it's physically impossible. He did, however, do a very good job. They knew they couldn't get the same results from the traditional joker with a different actor, so they made him craaaazy so it could fit a new one. It was a very good performance, but you still can't compare it to jack!

Considering that the Joker has existed in an ever expanding media since the 1940's, it's almost impossible to have a 'perfect' Joker, it all depends on person to person. For myself I did just mean the Joker in general and Heath Ledger's portrayal just happened to be the picture I had of the Joker, but, in my mind, Ledger > Nicholson in terms of being the Joker. With all due respect to Jack who I do like in movies, it does get tiring to see a guy who can't actually change his character from movie to movie and plays nearly the *exact same* character every time you see him. Unfortunately I haven't been able to read too many of the comics but I did find one quote from them that I do quite like, which unfortunately I dunno which comic it's from:

"In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out."

Only one i've heard of is Baal, and i don't really like him :P He's too unlike the other Go'auld. (If that's spelled right, its a real miracle.)

You've never heard of the T-1000? (or as Fudgie put it, Liquid Metal) o.o; The T-1000 was a great villain, and so, that also means you've never watched Terminator 2... o.o;;;

*blinks* I know what you're trying to say there but, my mind is failing to comprehend it. Sure, Terminator 3 sucks, but... o.o Never seen Terminator 2... it's like a person who isn't married, hasn't got a girlfriend/boyfriend, lives alone and doesn't watch Star Trek o.o

And I am joking by the way XD

I don't like most Sci-Fi either lol. It's all incredibly cheesy... I think the extent of my true sci-fi favorites contain only: Stargate, and the novel, Ender's Game. I read all the other books in the series, but they all sucked like every other sci-fi or fantasy book i read :(

Idk, I just don't really watch anything anymore unless it's romantic, or funny... Or both. Aside from anime really, I kinda like a lot of the action anime for some reason... But i carry over my distaste for most Sci-Fi anime as well... I hate almost all of them except gundam 00 and outlaw star. Gundam 00 is the only mecha-anime i like. I don't like any of the other Gundam's either.

My taste in games is a bit different than taste in movies though... I kinda expect a good game to be fantasy-oriented... Maybe even a little sci-fi and action based... But not too much on the action.

Basically, my taste in movies extends to pretty much all movies, the only movies I don't like are 'chick flicks', those really, really bore me and also make me feel embarrassed to be in the same room as the person playing it, and also I generally don't really like War movies too much. Gets me depressed watching something if I know it's based on a true story and it's got a real gritty/dirty feel to it, like most war movies.
