Haha~! Love it that was freaking brilliant. Someone needs to make a Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei cross-over with FFXI. I was half tempted to shop some stills but I have no expertise in making full video anymore. Mithra bondage {yes please} I can only imagine how crazy it could be after watching the Persona 3 cross-over. x_x!

You know, with as much fanfare and love of ffxi, I seriously doubt SE will cancel the ffxi service for many years to come. I think there would be riots in the streets of Japan.
I have never watched Lucky Star, but it was a nice video of ffxi characters that I knew!

Holy crap, that's the funniest thing I've seen/heard in a long time! Is that the opening song to Lucky Star?
I really need to start watching that anime sometime.

Lucky Star isn't that good IMO. Mainly because there's no plot in it at all.

CC as Prishe and vice versa . . .

Anyway, if you liked Azumanga Daioh's style of humor (read: random and plot-less) then you might like Lucky Star. It's more aimed towards otaku than Azumanga, but it's still a 4 koma turned barely coherent comedy anime. A lot of Lucky Star you can't appreciate without a wide experience of Japanese pop culture. In episode 5, for instance, there's references to an MMO (that happens to sound pretty FFXI-ish) and they outright have Konata cosplaying as Haruhi and performing the Hare Hare Yukai dance in another episode.

I'm not so keen on japanese pop culture, but I watched the first episode and could only find the Akira girl at the end funny....

I mean, the ENTIRE EPISODE was just talking about food....>_>

The first episode is probably the worst episode. It gets better though. It does require a decent size knowledge of other anime and videogames to get the jokes.

That was awesome.

Where did you find that? I'm hoping that was just the early stage of the thing, maybe he will finish/color the whole thing.

Edit :Nvm, found it myself.

I didn't think it was addicting enough to watch for that long. I mean yeah it's nice and all but... meh. I'd rather watch the man dressed up as Odin dance to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6TS79c6v2U
