Default unusual Dyna drops

well unusual amount of coins at least
personally in my 5 years of playing i've never seen more than 4 items drop at 1 given time from 1 dyna mob, anyone else ever see this happen before

ninja edit: to go along with this our AF drops went nuts too
2x WAR
DRK
WHM
BRD
RDM
THF
NIN

rdm thf and nin all dropped within 5 minutes of each other, post Hydra slaying

It's not that unusual. When I did my first Xarca we had an AF drop on every NM, and we got 2 100ccs.

Ive got a screenshot on my other PC of a treasure pool from beau with nin, pld, sam, drk, drg, and a 100 in it lol. We ended up getting like 13 beau drops that night, was insane. I also have an xarca one where we had pld rdm and blm in pool at once.

Hate to break it to ya, but the Hydra corps members can drop up to 7 currency and do quite often. Generally you'll see one of each at least =p

Although on the AF, very nice o_O

Hydras in glacier can drop multiple types of currency and from what i heard up to 10, but I have not seen over 8 myself, 3 of 1 currency, 4 of another currency +AF.

Drops really random lately.
I run with a small group, so we never get to clear zones, but gotten 5 HQ last jeuno, and 4HQ last windy.

Today's sandy run with 12 people yielded 11AF2s and 1HQ coin

Hydras are in Beaucedine. (They're supposed to be the members of the teams that were sent to explore the northlands)

They must be int he other areas of Beacedine my LS hasn't gone to. I've only seen Statues, Vanguard mobs, and that Angra Mainyu with his four Goddamned dragons. >.<

They're along a break off path that leads to Nue's tower is. Most shells skip them unless they're just bored or trying to spawn an attestation NM.

Yup, most people will ignore the hydra as they are a bit more rough on new/less coordinated shells. Granted now they aren't nearly as bad as when dynamis was first added to the game what with Sentinal being no where near what it is now back then. Most don't touch hydra unless they get the notion "maybe the hydra are holding all the AF" or like previous person stated, they are after an attestation which requires you to go up that way to get the nms to even spawn in the towers.

Ahhh... Mmm... That's something I'll have to tell the LS leader next time we stroll through Beaucedine... Bah, we never have the full amount anway. It sound like you need the max number of people to take them on. lol

Not really. Good group of about 24~30 can do it no sweat, just have to use slightly different pulling tactics then a fulll ls would. I know as little as 24 can get the Attestation Hydra popped, but it requires that one pt kinda goes on a mini kamakazi run which will get a puller killed multiple times since the Eye mobs you have to kill to get the Hydra NM's to spawn are usually blocked by other pops that need to be sac'd. It's more along the lines of people have to have their shit together rather then it being so hard it requires massive numbers to do.

Think the only part that is similar to this that requires a good deal more people is when you go for Fragments (final piece for Relic weapons/sheild) which generally requires you to zerg the NM to get it killed within 30 seconds or less since the mob "loses interest"
