Default idea: Footprints, trees, and more!

is it possible to mod things like that? or even swap the footprints to be like the ones in hall of the gods? :)

Not sure, I think those kinds of things are in the area .dats, which can't be edited still. VRS can open areas, but can't save them. :( It may be possilbe that some things (I know furniture is) are in seperate .dats which can be changed like anything else.

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I just had an idea reguarding this. It is possible to change the textures of models used inside zones. The ChangeTex program has no problem loading up those dats, so it is possible to change the colors of walls, floors, etc. I'm going to try to turn Lower Jeuno into something like candyland with bright swirly colors or something.
Edit: Added pic.

lol, put up posters of anything anyone could imagine. >.>

As for changing things in a zone, with a little messing around I think I could eventually ad things to it.

Hmm... I tried putting some grafitti on that wall, but the way it is, that wall is used everywhere and sometimes its backwards, so I decided to remove it. Anyways, I made Lower Jeuno really really colorful now! I can't post a pic, but someone should swap this in and zone into LJ and take a screeny for me. :D The file replaces ROM/1/41.DAT. Don't forget to backup the original!

Hehe, got lots of comments on it I see.
That was more or less of a test to see how it worked.
I've been thinking of making some more zone mods...
Something a bit less umm...... colorful... I guess. How about a darker Dynamis? I think that would be pretty cool.
But, I'm sure I could come up with lots of other ideas if I wanted to... :P

I got Dynamis Bastok done, but I'm going to wait and finish all four cities before posting the .dat files up. :) Is anyone going to be doing a Dynamis run within the next day or so?
Edit: Dynamis Jeuno is done. Decided to make a pic to show it off. 8) So I didn't line it up perfectly... but you can clearly see the difference. Left side is normal Dynamis Jeuno, and right side is my darker Dynamis Jeuno.

Edit2: Finished Dynamis Sandoria. Preview pic here.

Default Darker Dynamis Cities

Ok, all the city Dynamis areas are done! 8) I probably could have done more to them, but that's more like a second project... Anyways, here are the .dat files.
