I don't have Photoshop, but I do use Paint Shop Pro, so I think it's probably similar...
You could use the magic wand selection tool, select the color you want to replace (probably have to mess with some settings to make it select all that you want) then use something called colorize... dunno what it would be under in Photoshop, but it's under the adjust menu in Paint Shop Pro. With colorize, you can set the hue and saturation of the selection. Hope this helps ya. :P

In photo shop (adobe) It is Hue/saturation, and you just move the slider after you have a section of the image selected via magic wand or whichever tool you choose (circle or square for example). I also use the Variations option alot, it has a color wheel of the selected image in each basic color addition (red, green, yellow, blue, cyan, and magenta) and also light and darker previews.

Honestly there is alot of ways to change colors. You could even yous paint bucket and just dump the color on LOL. But what i described above is the tool I use most often. It keeps all the inbetween hues and shadows and such, so you dont have to do that work again.

I would pic something you dont care about if you mess up first, just so you can get the hang of your programs options.

(I use Adobe Photoshop Image Ready CS)

heres my progress... if anyone cares lol, i use the selective color option b/c Hue/saturation wasn't working the way i hoped...

the only problem i had with the selective color is that it was very limmited and id have to make multiple layers to get the coloer i wanted...

Ya, If you make a few sections, you can always paste the certain layers together to get them all to color at same time, if you want same color on them, by clicking on the eye over on the list of layers to make the ones you do not want together to be invisible then make sure you have a layer that is visible highlighted on the list and got to layers on the top menu, and then down at bottom is merge visible. This will make all the layers you kep visible one layer, and so then you can make it color'd at same time. This is how you can make a blue print to make lots of different color's for one set.

Well hope you are havin fun with it :)
